Job Description: Facilitator
To facilitate eduSOIL Yoga, Mindfulness and Changemaker programmes with youth and teachers in underserved communities.
Responsibilities
  • To take full responsibility for programme delivery while being personally and professionally aligned with eduSOIL social mission (as per job description)
  • To participate in all required trainings and facilitate eduSOIL programmes as per Teaching Guidelines and Lesson Plans.
  • To be responsible for venue and resource management, learner attendance and documentation.
  • To collaborate with Assistant for set programme delivery and resource management. - collect print outs, buy stationery if needed, take yoga mats, take resource boxes from home office.
  • To foster relationships with all partners (schools, corporates) via in-person meetings, emails, Whatsapp groups and be the point person for the impact partner.
  • To collaborate with Programme Manager on logistical preparations, documentation and reporting.
  • To collaborate with Researcher for programme evaluation assesing learning outcomes.
  • To innovate, co-create and participate in special events, including fundraisers to promote our social mission.
  • To collaborate with Teacher Trainer for training events.
  • To set up meetings, pitch the programmes/organisation to potential clients, represent eduSOIL at relevent conferences and exhibitions.
  • To prepare and participate in weekly individual and group performance reviews, collaborating with leadership team to evaluate and enhance prrogramme delivery to deepen and scale our social impact. 

Requirements
Essential
  • Bachelors Degree (in related field ie Education, Psychology, Social Development)
  • Teaching Qualification (ie Early Years, Adult Education, Yoga)
  • Driver's licence and own car essential
  • Police Clearance Certificate, or receipt of PCC application
  • Technologically sound - whatsapp, gmail, google drive & calendar, social media, skype, etc.
  • Yoga, mindfulness or meditation experience
  • Fluent English
Preferred
  • SACE Certificate
  • Yoga Teaching Certificate
  • Multi-lingual

Placement Details
  • Based at Sandton office, with local travel for prrogramme delivery
  • Immediate start
  • Mon- Fri, 8:00 - 16:00, with scheduled once a month Sat programmes.
  • 6 month contract with performance review to determine contract extension and increase.
  • Johannesburg based, with national travel as per programmme requirement.
  • Remuneration - R 8000 per month
