About the programme
Learn about the Art For Change programme, where creativity meets activism through arts-based, youth-led, social action.
Join our Art For Change Masterclasses to learn how to enable youth-led, arts-based civic action using FIDS, our globally acclaimed methodology (Feel, Imagine, Do, Share) that has empowered 2 million children in 70+ countries to lead change.
Each Masterclass is a cross-sectoral, cross-community and intercultural immersion, taking artist facilitators, school teachers, youth workers, academics and business leaders on informative and interactive artivism journeys.
By the end of each Masterclass, the group will learn about:
  • the global Design For Change (DFC) Movement  https://www.dfcworld.org/
  • eduSOIL and our DFC NI work https://designforchangeni.com/
  • the I CAN Journey partnership opportunity for schools, youth and arts organisations, universities and corporates https://edusoil.my.canva.site/dfcni-partnerships
  • the upcoming Be The Change Summit in Athens, Greece, November 26 - 29, that a group of young people from NI can be country representatives for, alongside peers from 30+ countries https://summit2026.dfcgreece.org/
  • how the Art For Change Summer Programme, at Queen’s University Belfast July 6 - 10th is a pathway to the global stage in Athens later this year, that artist facilitators, school teachers, academics and corporate partners can support https://designforchangeni.com/art-for-change
  • how to use the Feel, Imagine, Do, Share framework to co-create an art-piece in response to a chosen issue which will be presented at our showcase event on July 10th
