Mindfulness

one day immersive Retreat
Here and Now - Develop present moment awareness of your body, breath, thoughts & emotions, and explore your current stress and mindfulness levels.

Pause - Engage in yoga, mindfulness and meditation to increase attentiveness and take 
time to relax your body and mind. 

Mindful Eating  - Cultivate awareness of the sight, smell, taste and the nutritional value of 
food you eat.

Breathe - Pay attention to your breath through mindful movement, eating, speaking and listening, to reconnect with your inner self.

Mindful Walking - Feel your feet on the floor as you walk without having to go somewhere or do 
something-ground yourself.

Heal - Learn about your personal stress triggers & indicators, and explore tools that you can use to be less reactive and more responsive in stressful situations.

The retreat will be held with a minimum of 10 participants, from 10:00 - 16:00 

8 Week Mindfulness based stress reduction course
Equip your coworkers with practical stress reduction strategies over 8 weeks of mindfulness, yoga and guided reflection with the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Course. 
​With up to 2.5 hr sessions every week, supported by home practice guidelines and an exclusive full day immersive retreat, this course is one of our favorites for the impact and transformation it provides.

Each batch of the MBSR course will have a minimum of 10 participants and will be conducted on Wednesday or Friday mornings.

Yoga & Mindfulness for Stress Reduction Workshop
At a Yoga & Mindfulness workshop, your coworkers will learn how to use Yoga & Mindfulness strategies to manage stress and indulge in self - care. The workshop will include:
- Holistic Self Care - with Yoga & Mindfulness   
- Holistic Stress Reduction - with Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction strategies
- Mindful Expression - with dance or draw strategies 
The workshop will be held with a minimum of 10 participants and for a duration of 3 hours.
Yoga & Mindfulness at School: CSI Sponsorship and Volunteerism
eduSOIL NPO enables access to Yoga & Mindfulness programmes for children in at-risk communities by charging schools/organisations a % of the discounted price and seeking funding and investment support for operational costs. Our weekly classes are at the following schools:
- Streetlight Schools, Jeppestown (120 learners)
- Kgololo Academy, Alexandra (30 learners)
- Belly Delly Day Care centre, Kensington (40 learners)


Your corporate can engage in CSI sponsorship to invest in this programme and enable year-long corporate volunteerism opportunities:
- Participate in special, day-long community events. (eg International Day of Yoga). 
- Join weekly classes as volunteers who participate in yoga and mindfulness to help themselves and the children.

Changemaking

Our Changemaker programmes are in partnership with the the UN endorsed  Design For Change curriculum framework that is enhancing student-led inquiry and citizenship in 60 countries around the world!
changemaker catalyst Lab: CSI sponsorship & volunteerism
Our Changemaker Catalyst Labs take place every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month, with 10 learner groups from Higher Resourced schools, Lower Resourced schools and schools for the specially abled. At these labs, learners, teachers and volunteers develop 21st century skills and join the international Design For Change movement enabling children  to take action and lead change in their communities. 
Your organisation can sponsor Lower Resourced Schools at the Lab (R3,500 per school group) and/or enable a group of  corporate volunteers at a Lab (R2,500 for a group of 10 volunteers).

CHANGEMAKER MENTORSHIP PROGRAMME
Your employees can be Changemaker Mentors that assist a group of learners to implement their action plan in their community and to write & publish stories of change on the international I CAN School Challenge digital platform and articles on the WeCan24 platform. 
2 hr sessions at school, every two weeks, for two months. 
Minimum 10 volunteers
